These curious and interesting birds come across to me only in autumn. Sometimes, very rarely in winter.
One day in October, I was walking through the forest, and suddenly I heard someone sawing trees. They were, so to speak, the orderlies of the forest, that is, people who are not indifferent to this forest. They sawed not the trees themselves, but already fallen and rotten ones. And they removed them from the paths so that you could move normally. And of course, this could not but interest this inquisitive bird. Jays should always know everything that happens in the forest.
She flew from tree to tree, reporting with her short croak about the events taking place. Well, then she got hungry and tried to eat the only viburnum berry left over from a flock of waxwings.
