SMaP 120 - Free Theme (Bullfinches)

And this week's theme is - FREE THEME.
I decided to show you bullfinches.

These birds have become almost the personification of winter and everything connected with it. They are depicted on postcards dedicated to the winter holidays, on various food products in winter. And this is not surprising, because it is in winter that everyone sees them most often.

Males are bright ruddy, and females are the color of coffee with milk. These birds are very modest and shy. And with the advent of spring, when they fly back to the forests, you will hardly see or hear them. They fly silently and their voices are very quiet.

But even less often in winter you can see another species of bullfinch - the Baikal bullfinch. Judging by the name, these guys arrive from somewhere in Lake Baikal. And they are not so shy, and more talkative.
