This week's theme is - NESTING.
Fieldfare is completely irresponsible about building a nest. They can create it simply in open spaces that are clearly visible, and in principle dangerous.
On the 1st photo, it is right in the installation of the reserve-peak substation. Electricity is buzzing there, and corvids and kites are constantly flying. In the second photo, this is a sandy cliff of a ravine that is crumbling, and on top there is just a path along which athletes run and ride.
And in this photo, a long-tailed tit is building a nest. And to be more precise, crushes the bedding.
This wryneck was sitting on the birdhouse and screaming. Found a home.
Pied flycatchers nest in a crevice in a tree. And then the male, then the female, periodically flew in and out of it.
Kingfishers don't build nests, they dig holes. And every year I find their place. In the photo you can see how the female sits on the eggs.
