🦉 The common chaffinch or simply the chaffinch (Fringilla coelebs)

It is always pleasant to hear the songs of these birds in early spring. They start flying in around the beginning of April, if the weather allows it, of course, otherwise, due to the cold, they can appear at the end of April, as it happened last year.
The males arrive first. They explore territories, sing songs to mark them as their own, and skirmishes between themselves and even other bird species are not uncommon. About a week later, the females arrive, looking plain and outwardly similar to sparrows.
