This is a wild fellow of the house sparrow familiar to us. At first glance, it may seem that they are indistinguishable. But look closely, this species has a brown cap on its head, and it also has white cheeks with black spots on them. And the plumage is more contrasting and saturated.

In my city, these guys live on the outskirts. Most often I see them near the river where there are meadows and the coastal zone. There they constantly sit in flocks on the bushes, flying from one to another. In addition, on the shore, they swallow small pebbles to help their digestion grind solid food.
