These birds, which have already become city dwellers, are among the first to return from wintering. As soon as spring begins, the snow melts, you can already wait for the arrival of these birds. Initially, they appear near rivers, apparently using them as a guide to return. And for their ability to actively shake their tail when walking, they were nicknamed "icebreaker" in the old days. That is, the bird walked in the spring on the ice and hit it with its tail.
And this bird also flies away quite late compared to other migratory birds. It happened that in mid-October, when it was already quite cold, I saw and heard them in my yard and near the river.
