I do not meet this species of woodpeckers often, I would even say not every year. Actually, this woodpecker is rare for some reason.
It is very different from other species of woodpeckers that I meet in our forests. Naturally, this is his appearance, the color of the plumage is yellow-green like a greenfinch, the color of the eyes is slightly reddish, and of course his melancholy voice.
