These bright birds can already be seen at the end of March, with favorable weather and bright warm sun. However, at this time they are on the migration. But after a week or two, they are already in the forest and actively sing songs, spend the mating season. And few of them remain to nest here, after finding a partner, they again fly away somewhere.
In summer, I found them only far outside the settlements, in a coniferous forest. There are a lot of them. And in the mixed forest within the city, there are quite a few of them.
With the advent of autumn, they begin to fly to warm countries or regions. They unite in flocks and fly together through the forests, simultaneously eating berry bushes, such as viburnum or rowan.
