As quickly as the information broke out that the neighborhood flesh presser had been caught in a corruption scandal, no person used to be virtually surprised. The man had continually regarded too slick and too charming to be absolutely trustworthy. And now, as extra and extra important points emerged about his shady offers and illicit activities, it solely established what most human beings had suspected all along.

But whilst it wasn't surprising, it used to be nevertheless stunning in its personal way. The city had usually prided itself on being a close-knit community, the place human beings regarded out for every different and labored collectively for the larger good. Now, it felt like a betrayal, as even though anyone had pulled the rug out from underneath everyone's feet.

But in the end, they all knew that lifestyles would go on. They would select themselves up, dirt themselves off, and begin rebuilding. Because even when matters don't seem to be surprising, they can nevertheless be difficult to swallow.

En cuanto se supo que el periodista de carne y hueso del barrio se había visto envuelto en un escándalo de corrupción, nadie se sorprendió. El hombre siempre había parecido demasiado hábil y encantador para ser absolutamente digno de confianza. Y ahora, como puntos cada vez más importantes surgieron acerca de sus ofertas turbias y actividades ilícitas, que sólo estableció lo que la mayoría de los seres humanos había sospechado todo el tiempo.

Pero aunque no era sorprendente, sí era asombroso a su manera. La ciudad solía enorgullecerse de ser una comunidad muy unida, en la que los seres humanos se preocupaban por los demás y colaboraban por el bien común. Ahora, se sentía como una traición, como si alguien hubiera tirado de la manta bajo los pies de todos.

Pero al final, todos sabían que la vida continuaría. Se levantarían, se quitarían la suciedad y empezarían a reconstruirse. Porque aunque las cosas no parezcan sorprendentes, pueden ser difíciles de digerir.
