At the reservoir, Peter gave MJ a sonic revolver before luring Venom away. As Miles held off the outer symbiote horde, MJ breached the hive interior using her sonic weapon. Trapped inside after Venom tentacles sealed the entrance, I played as MJ where I had to shoot yellow symbiote nodes to open paths before falling to a lower level.
All three heroes arrived at the Central Park Reservoir, which was heavily guarded by a mass of standing symbiotes. Before splitting up, Peter handed MJ a sonic revolver, guessing she might need extra firepower.
The upgrade visibly pleased MJ, giving her a serious edge for the mission ahead.
The trio observed the symbiotes standing completely still, almost as if waiting for a signal or arrival.
After exchanging final words, the team bid each other goodbye as Peter stepped forward, ignoring the idle symbiotes to navigate directly toward Harry's location.
Calling out to draw Harry out, Peter landed right in between all those idle symbiotes, declaring that it was just the two of them, exactly as they had always wanted
The taunt worked, Venom emerged and immediately pounced on Peter, shouting that their "gift" would finally belong to him. Peter countered Venom's initial strike with his anti-venom abilities, telling Harry he'd have to catch him first before swinging away into the city.
Venom took the bait and gave chase immediately, leaving the site clear for Miles and MJ to execute their part of the plan.
With Venom gone, the surrounding symbiotes activated. Miles engaged the horde outside while MJ sprinted toward the meteorite's resting place.
A lingering symbiote moved to tackle her, but MJ promptly drew her sonic revolver and blasted the creature, proving she was more than capable of taking care of herself.
As Miles kept the main force occupied, MJ slipped into the symbiote hives interior, only for Venom's massive tentacles to slam shut behind her, sealing the entrance and leaving her isolated inside with only her sonic revolver.
Now tasked with reaching the meteorite alone, I pushed deeper as MJ and after reaching a dead end blocked by symbiote biomass, I discovered that shooting the glowing yellow globes with the sonic gun would force the organic doors to pull back and open a path forward.
Traversing the dark corridors, I spotted dropped flares along the floor, while MJ was hoping the civilians who left them had managed to escape the hive.
Moving through the unsteady organic layout, the ground suddenly gave way beneath MJ, dropping her into the lower levels of the underground.
That's all for now. I'll write about more of this story again soon. Be safe till we meet again.
Au revoir/Goodbye.
