You heard/read it right. This quest is about saving Spiderman but not the superhero Spider-Man. It's about saving that cat behind miles who was called Spider-Man by its owner.
I found the quest through the app that Ganke implemented to help peoples where the owner of the cat asked for my help to find his cat named Spiderman. I mean, it seemed like a joke to me that they asks Spider-Man to find a cat but yeah I went for it thinking it might get interested in some point.
Looking for the cat, I went inside a building and found a place where evil guys were doing their evil works and I had to beat some of them there.
Then I noticed Spiderman (the cat) walking on the edge of that gate and then it went inside that gate and I ran after it.
I see a bad guy found the cat and he seemed like a good man for pets as he was nurturing the cat very well even when he was at his evil work.
I fought the bad guy and reclaimed Spiderman along with the backpack and then I had to find for a safe exit.
Then I returned to the man who reported the missing case and left Spiderman there on its couch and I see there was its name as well written on a cardboard, lol.
The side quest was finished by returning the cat to its owner.
