What if I am not to be found?
What if I am just a fading sound?
What if I drift,without a bound,
And leave no mark behind?
What if I am mornings borrowed gold?
A tale that can not be told?
A fire that grew so cold?
What if I am just a stars last trace?
A memory time will erase?
The hollow where a smile was placed?
What if I am dawn, a final streak?
The word the lips can never speak?
The peace the heart cannot keep.
