Aurora, is the fourth of my sisters, from a very young age we were very close, we grew up under the patterns of values that our mother Leonides taught us. Then we studied, graduated, got married, bought our own houses and became independent. However, when school vacations came, my sisters would come with their children to vacation at my mother's house.

At that time my sister Maria Teresa, who was the eldest of the women, had 2 children (a girl and a boy), as she had married long before us.

Aurora already had a daughter and so did I. Our children were fascinated to be at Leonides' house, because she had a piece of land next to her house that served as a backyard. With fruit trees of mango, guava and purple grapes, which they enjoyed with those fruits. She has also taken an outdoor shower where the children bathed. In that space, they improvised games and strategies, under our supervision.

When my sisters' husbands and mine had their vacations, which were almost simultaneous with ours, they would come with their cars and organize some outings to different beaches: Quetepe, Tunantal, Playa Cocalito in Mari guitar. On those beaches. In the open air, we cooked fish soups with lots of vegetables and boiled yucca in a big pot over firewood and three stones.

The coolers were full of white beers and ice. Filtered water to drink. And the little bottle of rum, which Toño (Aurora's husband) always carried hidden, wine and Cream punch for the women. Fruit and candy for the children.

Other days we would go to the Guaiquerí recreational park (located in Cumaná),

Aurora had the great defect that what was happening to her, she hid it from my mother, she preferred to communicate it to me, under oath, so that I would not communicate it to Leonides. I explained to him that it was not a secret. That she should remember that my mother had a sixth sense, that through her dreams and her own intuition she would discover it. She did not want to understand.

A few days passed, and we sat under the tree watching the kids having fun in the yard. My mother brought a container with coffee and small cups. She said:

"Put them on the table."

"Help yourselves, while we enjoy our coffee I am going to tell you about a dream I had last night."

Aurora, who was in front of me, opened her eyes as big as those of an owl.

Leonides looked at all of us and with a smile between his teeth spoke:

"Last night, I dreamed of a snake that climbed on my bed and bit my arm."

Maria Teresa asked, "What meaning does this dream have for you. And what do you intuit"?

Leonides answered:

"For me, it is a pregnant woman hiding". He paused and continued:

"My intuition, tells me that she is a very close relative of mine."

Aurora, her face unhinged, as pale as the flutter of the neon yellow butterfly, plucked up her courage and asked:

"Why do you think she is a relative?" Her mother replied:

"Because I have been bitten by the snake, and you will see how soon it will be known who it is that is pregnant."

We all burst out laughing. And among ourselves, we commented: "Who could it be?

"Not me," I answered:

Maria Teresa said: "Me neither".
Aurora answered: "I don't".

Night was falling, and we decided to get up to prepare dinner and go to bed.

After 5 months, for the Christmas vacations, my sisters came with their husbands and children to my mother's house. As soon as they settled the suitcases in their rooms, we sat down in the dining room, my mother approached Aurora, whose belly was not yet showing, and said to her:

"Since September of this year, when I had the dream with the snake, I sensed that it was you who was pregnant"

She took a deep breath and continued:

"I was hoping you would tell me, but I preferred to keep quiet."

Everyone blushed, except me. Because. She had told me from the first moment. Aurora smiled and added:

"I see, you have tremendous intuition."

My mother replied:

"Turn around, I'm going to tell you if you're having a girl or a boy".

Aurora turned her back to her; Leonides looked at her hips and replied:

"In the first months of next year, you will have a girl."

All of us present laughed, my brother-in-law Antonio said:

"Gee, Leonides you have the echo sonogram to the eye percent¡".

She answered:

"When the girl is born, you will realize that what I predestined guided by my intuition will be fulfilled".

At the beginning of the first month of 1975, in a clinic in Caracas, Aurora gave birth to a beautiful baby girl named Maria Eugenia.

At that time, my mother went to accompany my sister Aurora. When she returned home from the clinic, she was accompanied by Maria Teresa, Hermes, Antonio and her baby girl. My mother received them with great joy and said to them:

" You can tell, when I sensed that a female was going to be born, and so it was!".

Aurora, Maria Teresa and my two brothers-in-law. They exclaimed very excited, coming out of their astonishment:
"It's true, what you predestined!"

From that moment on, as soon as Aurora became pregnant, she told her mother.

Over the years, we had other children. During childhood and adolescence, they enjoyed those vacation seasons.

When they graduated, they worked and became independent. Those traditions were lost.

In addition to this. My mother, the one with the meanings of her dreams and intuitive hunches. She passed to another dimension. Accompanying her after a short time. The organizers of the vacation seasons: María Teresa, Hermes, Antonio, and Efraín.
