Strolling Through Traki (Eng/Esp)

Today my steps took me in a new direction; I went to the Ciudad Traki Shopping Center, a different but necessary destination because the heat in the city is intense, so being in a cool and comfortable place is a great plan. I took the opportunity to explore and hide from the relentless sun.

The mall always looks neat and elegant—perhaps that’s one of its greatest strengths. It’s also spacious, so everyone can walk around and enjoy different activities without having to deal with large crowds. I like that it’s constantly being remodeled because there’s something new to see on every visit.

Being here is like taking a break from everyday life and retreating into a very comfortable glass bubble, as if time had stopped to let us relax for a while and enjoy the experience. As I walked, my mind wandered along with my feet, absorbed by all the Christmas merchandise and new clothing collections. December is just around the corner, and you can really feel it in the air here at this mall.

This time I went up to the terrace—the view is incredible—and took the opportunity to snap a few photos with the ocean in the background and a beautiful, clear blue sky. People who suffer from vertigo probably couldn’t stand here to take in the scenery, since looking down might be scary. In my case, I didn’t want to miss the view, so I just gazed at it for a little while before heading back.

Hoy mis pasos me llevaron por un nuevo rumbo, me fui al Centro Comercial Ciudad Traki, un destino diferente pero necesario porque el calor de la ciudad está intenso, así que estar en un lugar fresco y confortable es un gran plan. Aproveché para explorar y ocultarme de los implacables rayos solares.

El centro comercial siempre luce pulcro y elegante, quizás sea una de sus más grandes virtudes. Además es espacioso, cada quien puede caminar y hacer diferentes actividades sin sufrir grandes aglomeraciones. Me agrada que esté en constante remodelación porque en cada visita se apreciarán novedades.

Estar acá es hacer una pausa dentro de lo cotidiano y encerrarse en una burbuja de cristal muy confortable, tal como si el tiempo se detuviera para permitirnos relajarnos un rato y vivir la experiencia. Mientras caminaba, mi mente viajaba junto a mis pies, absorta por tanta mercancía navideña y nuevos estrenos de ropa. Ya diciembre está a punto de llegar y en este centro comercial se siente en el ambiente.

En esta oportunidad fui a la terraza, pues la vista es increíble, aproveché para capturar algunas fotos con el mar de fondo y un cielo azul despejado y hermoso. Las personas que sufren de vértigo no podrían pararse aquí a contemplar el paisaje, pues si miramos hacia abajo puede producir temor. En mi caso, no quería perderme del paisaje, así que contemplé solo un rato antes de marcharme.
