Hola hivers, estoy de nuevo por aquí compartiendo ideas para las madres y los padres que educan en casa. Ayudar a los pequeños es otra de mis satisfacciones, así que en ese hermoso mundo del aprendizaje sigo investigando. En esta ocasión, las protagonistas serán las figuras geométricas, las cuales son básicas para que el pequeño establezca relaciones con su entorno y lo ayude a su comprensión, además, aprenda sobre nociones de espacio y ejercite su razonamiento visual. Sin embargo, siempre nos enfocamos en las mismas, ya que son las más comunes (triángulo, círculo, rectángulo y cuadrado) y obviamos las demás, por ello, cuando el niño observa una más compleja, no puede reconocerla, de allí que el enfoque de este juego didáctico sea en seis formas distintas: elipse, deltoide, rombo, óvalo, trapecio y romboide.

Hi hivers, I'm here again sharing ideas for homeschooling moms and dads. Helping the little ones is another of my satisfactions, so in this beautiful world of learning I keep on investigating. This time, the protagonists will be the geometric figures, which are basic for the little one to establish relationships with their environment and help them to understand it, also learn about notions of space and exercise their visual reasoning. However, we always focus on the same ones, since they are the most common (triangle, circle, rectangle and square) and we ignore the others, therefore, when the child observes a more complex one, he cannot recognize it, hence the focus of this didactic game is on six different shapes: ellipse, deltoid, rhombus, oval, trapezoid and rhomboid.

Materiales:

-Cartulina negra, azul, verde, rosada
-Color blanco
-Lapicero rojo
-Pega blanca
-Tijera
-Regla
-Hojas recicladas

Materials:

-Black, blue, green, pink card stock.

Procedimiento:

En una hoja reciclada marqué los patrones de un tamaño considerable para que entraran los seis en ese espacio. Luego, los recorté.

En una cartulina negra punteé con el color blanco las seis figuras antes mencionadas, guiándome con los moldes.

Saqué tres ejemplares de cada patrón en diferentes colores de cartulina, la idea fue que el color no coincidiera con la representación, de modo que el niño no pudiera asociarlo, pues el objetivo que se busca es que pueda distinguirlas de acuerdo a su estructura.

Posteriormente, en pedacitos de cartulina amarilla, coloqué los nombres, para que resaltara los escribí con el lapicero rojo. De esta forma, está lista nuestra actividad.

Procedure:

On a recycled sheet I marked the patterns of a considerable size so that all six would fit in that space. Then, I cut them out.

On a black cardboard I stippled with white color the six figures mentioned above, guided by the molds.

I took three copies of each pattern in different colors of cardboard, the idea was that the color did not coincide with the representation, so that the child would not be able to associate it, since the objective is that the child can distinguish them according to their structure.

Afterwards, I placed the names on small pieces of yellow cardboard and wrote them with the red pencil so that they would stand out. Thus, our activity is ready.

¿Cómo se juega?

En vista de que estamos reforzando conocimientos sobre las formas básicas, se retomará el tema y se anexarán las nuevas, dándole una breve definición de las mismas. Considero que una manera efectiva para que el niño aprenda es relacionar los temas con la cotidianidad, unas imágenes para ilustrar serían de gran ayuda, así le podemos señalar o mostrar en cuáles objetos se encuentran dichas figuras, por ejemplo:

Óvalo: un huevo, una almendra o una pista de hipódromo.

Elipse: un espejo, un adorno decorativo o una goma elástica.

Deltoide: papagayo.

Trapecio: puede ser una cancha de fútbol o una calle vista en perspectiva.

Rombo: un diamante o una señal de tránsito.

Romboide: un escritorio visto desde otro enfoque.

How to play?

Since we are reinforcing knowledge about the basic shapes, the topic will be taken up again and the new ones will be added, giving a brief definition of them. I believe that an effective way for the child to learn is to relate the topics to everyday life, some images to illustrate would be of great help, so we can point out or show in which objects these shapes are found, for example:

Oval: an egg, an almond or a racetrack.

Ellipse: a mirror, a decorative ornament or a rubber band.

Deltoid: parrot.

Trapeze: a soccer field or a street seen in perspective.

Romboid: a diamond or a traffic sign.

Romboid: a desk seen from another approach.

Posteriormente, el niño colocará todas las figuras al lado derecho del tablero realizado y del lado izquierdo los nombres. En cada sombreado deberá ubicar las formas que corresponden, por último, las identificará. Este proceso puede invertirse, es decir, primero los nombres y, luego, las figuras.

Practiqué esta actividad con Leonel, mi ahijado consentido, estuvo muy atento a la explicación. Él ya sabe reconocer las figuras básicas, así que le pedí que me designara algunas, de las que tuviéramos alrededor en ese momento u otras que recordara de otro entorno social. Refirió que los círculos los podemos observar en la manilla de puerta y en la boca de un vaso, los cuadrados en los portarretratos o en una torta, los rectángulos en los ladrillos y en los vidrios de la ventana, los triángulos en el corte de una pizza y en la forma como solemos cortar un pedazo de patilla. Lo felicité por su magnífica explicación.

Nos introdujimos en el juego, lo repetimos varias veces, luego, los situaba rápidamente. El niño asimila muy bien, me encanta estudiar con él, ahora sé que amplió su conocimiento, lo cual me alegra mucho. Esto ha sido todo por ahora, amigos, regresaré para relatar otras experiencias. I complimented him on his superb explanation.

We got into the game, we repeated it several times, and then I quickly placed them. The child assimilates very well, I love studying with him, now I know that he expanded his knowledge, which makes me very happy.
