English version

Today I’m showing you a part of Caigüire Beach that usually goes unnoticed. It’s the area where the vines grow at ground level. Usually, our gaze is drawn to the beach and the majestic blue sea, and we forget that there are also wonderful natural elements to observe right on the ground.

I stopped for a while to watch how these vines make their way through the landscape to survive in different environmental conditions. I took photos from different angles until I managed to capture several shots that brought together both the ocean and Sugar Loaf Hill in a single view.

That’s why every visit to the beach becomes a unique experience—because I get to discover new landscapes worth admiring. Nature never ceases to amaze me in different ways; even the large rocks seemed to be beckoning me to make them the focus of my camera lens.

Without a doubt, capturing images of these vines that lie flat on the ground offers me a different perspective on seascapes, as it allows me to gauge just how tall the surrounding shrubs and trees are. This ecosystem is inspiring and has always been there, waiting to be discovered and admired.

From a distance, the vine looks like a line of ants carrying leaves toward their anthill; it looks quite intriguing, with its green color winding through the arid, sandy soil. The sea in the background adds to its striking beauty. I really liked this perspective because it brings together brown, green, and blue—three of nature’s most iconic colors.
