Bloody minded memories,
paper-plate faces
                                 follow me.

I paint on features -
creatures of my creation.
Red dead lips that kiss,
and tickle my
                 S
                 t
                 e
                 m

Whittling this type-set,
resetting to recreate
films lost in the grain,
burnt in the flames
of superman's curse
or any other

H O L L Y W O O D
myth,
adrift,
           dispersed.

Whistling alarms
swing tremolo arms
of atmospheric
           _PRESSURE.

Spinning me more
than dead red lips,
white paper faces,
or any synthetic
caricature.
