About 10 years ago I learned how to play tennis. I was a member of NTC, a sport club. NTC had 3 tennis courts, 1 pool and a gym. In the beginning the only thing I did was swimming because I didn't know how to play tennis and the gym was back then not interesting for me. Every Friday I was in the pool, swimming for about an hour. On day my brother and sister went to the tennis court and they met a guy who wanted to teach them how to tennis. The next time my brother and sister didn't came to swim, instead they went to play tennis. I did wanted to learn tennis also but I was to shy to ask the guy if he also wanted to teach me. On day the asked me if I also wanted to play tennis and I said yes. I didn't had a tennis racket, but from somewhere Ellie gave me a racket and we started to play. That was the first time I held a tennis racket and also the first time that I played tennis. The next time I went to NTC, swimming wasn't that interesting for me anymore. Instead I went to the tennis court. Ellie was waiting for me. The 2 best courts where occupied so I couldn't use the good courts and went to the less good one. It was my second time playing tennis on a very sunny day. What a great feeling! All of a sudden an old man came to me and asked if I've ever, before in my life, played tennis. He continued and gave me a compliment. His compliment included that he never ever saw such a talented person and asked me if I wanted to join the tennis training. I was so full of joy, the next few days were so bright for me, I couldn't stop thinking about what the old man told me. I discussed that with my mom, sadly she said that she couldn't pay for the training... 鈽癸笍
I was sad and yet so thankful that I had the opportunity to play 2 times in my life tennis. The next day I'll always remember.... It was a good day, after school I headed home because I wanted to take my siesta, mom woke me up and asked if I wanted to go to the sport club and of course I said yes. There arrived, I was trying to ignore the old man only because I didn't wanted to tell him the sad thing, not able to join his training. Mister Dan came to me and asked me if I would join his training. It was so uncomfortble for me to say that I wouldn't join. Then he asked me why I wouldn't join the training, I was very honest and said that mom wasn't financially stable to pay for the training. Mister Dan gave me a racket and said that he would gave me free lessons, the only thing I had to do was to come on time! I still can't describe how thankful I am馃槶鉂わ笍
So that's how I learned how to play tennis. I also participated on a few tournaments and won prizes!
Now I still play tennis but I don't participate on tournaments. Mostly I play tennis minimal 1 time in the week and I'm still in love with the sport.
