This will likely get a lot nastier. The Armenians see this as a Turkish attack on them as an ethnicity. To a degree, the Islamic Vs. Christian conflict as well. Turks back Azerbaijan and Russia is backing the Armenians. The threats are large scale and now the Turks are sending in mercenaries to escalate the conflict. Brad Johnson, Retired Chief of Station for the CIA says that this will likely escalate and is a permanent conflict.
