This is an experimental video which I'll explain in a moment.
This is actually me heading to work then heading home at the end of the day. It's literally the same day.
Here's the experiment. Often when I'm riding I listen to music. However, for copyright reasons I can't add that music to my videos. What I want for this video is any of you Hivers out there that can compose music, I would like for you to remix this video with your creations. At the very least comment below with your creations so I can add your music to my videos.
What I'm after is pretty easy listening but I'm also a fan of punk and rock. I'm up for any type of music except rap or anything with explicit lyrics. I'm aiming for a cruisey feel to the music to go in line with the rides I do.
My ultimate goal is to collaborate with Hive musicians - or any musician really - to get your music out there by way of my videos.
This is a 28 minute video but I'm also going to add some bigger rides, split into a playlist, so I'm after as much music as I can get.
All rights to the music will be yours to do with as you wish, I'll add you as a beneficiary to any videos I post containing your music, all I ask for is for you to allow me to add your music to my videos.
I've always had a desire to make chill action videos like all the skater videos of the 90s. It's actually one of the reasons I became a Mac user back in 2001, because it was $3000NZD cheaper to do video editing on a Mac than it was a PC. Back then I made wakeboarding videos of me and my mates set to music then I exported to VHS. I want to get back into that and this is going to be one of my first.
