Who else loves a fire in there sitting room while having a few beers

I had a tough day decided to grab a few beers well deserve I would say been painting all day just moved into a property with my gf just doing it up a little day by day hopefully this place will look as we want it to look its though tho fixing up a house with what I can afford but I will show you start to fenish and hopefully you tell me what you think because I could use advise from some 1 other then my gf haha but I just came on here to say I'm having a few beers in front of the fire you know my father use to always tell me he went drinking with my grandad in his house in front of the fire my grandad always bet my father he could drink and stay awake longer then my dad and he always won and he told me he said once u feel like your at home you'll always fall asleep yet I don't fall asleep in front of the fire while drinking wish I could have the chance have that bet with him 😔
