Joining Hive is one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life and I can boldly say it anywhere and everywhere that Hive has helped me a lot in my life. This is a platform that I cannot go a day without visiting and I’m thankful for my friend who onboarded me to Hive.
When I joined, I stopped posting after a few days. It was complex to me and I think this is also what a lot of newbies say. They don’t really know how it works and that’s how it happened to me too.
When I joined Hive, I faced so many problems about the complexity of the platform. Talking about one thing or one major challenge I faced on Hive is how the voting power works. It took me time to enjoy it. When I joined, I didn’t know about Ecency, Inleo, Hive keychain and so much more. The only front end I was familiar with was Inleo. I realized that after voting for a few articles, I may not be able to vote again. Honestly, that’s one of the the things that made me leave the platform for over a year before I decided to come back.
Moreover, I didn’t invest in the platform at all so I was not even able to engage well with other people on the platform. I was pissed.
I then realized that it was advisable to invest in the platform. It’s not a must to invest a lot of money but buying Hive can help solve all of these things even though not having enough money may not solve it all.
I was surprised when I saw people vote my article and it gives me a reasonable amount of money but when I vote on other people’s article, it won’t even give them money at all. I was wondering if the platform was being biased or something.
I met one of my friends who are very much familiar with the platform and I understood the explanation. That was how I decided to buy little Hive so I could be able to engage well and right now, I can make so many engagements as possible even though my Hive power may still be little.
What’s my advice to everyone especially newbies?
My major advice is that they should invest in Hive even though it may be a little amount of money. The main goal is to be able to perform as many actions as possible on the platform. I believe that Hive needs investors on board as the platform is still fresh.
It is just so sad that people sometimes want to make money from something but they do not want to invest in it. I believe Hive has a very promising future and I can vouch for Hive. I have invited so many people to this platform but on the long run, some of them stopped being active. I hope to see them active again.
I’m two years on Hive and if Hive can last forever, I’d be a member forever.
