Hi everyone, I'm Anthony. I am eager to start this exciting journey on Hive. For some time, I have been watching this community and now it is the time to make my introduction to it.
For quite a few years now, I have been looking for genuine opportunities via the web. Like many people I also have been drawn to several sites on the Internet that promised quick money, success, and freedom from financial worries, only to discover that the sites were scams or at least didn't give nice returns to their users. After many disappointing experiences with other platforms, I found out about Hive when I was looking up communities for blockchain online.
At the start, I must confess that I was very perplexed with the idea of blockchain itself, with so many new terminologies that needed to be studied regarding the topic, from cryptocurrency to wallets, decentralization, tokens, keys, etc., all very confusing. But, the more I read on the topic, the more intrigued I got.
Honestly, at first, I could barely believe that my sudden discovery of Hive was that one lucky find of something so great that one even makes money through the content creation on the platform. Nevertheless, being able to make money on social media nowadays seems rather utopian because the existing social networks gain from their users but provide little to nothing back to the content makers.
In the end, through my further reading and understanding of the topic, I can say that the main difference that Hive has from other social networks is that here users own their own post, which is impossible on other platforms since it is run by a company, while on Hive it is blockchain-based.
What else amazed me was the rewarding system. It is nice that a person can be rewarded for their efforts, their consistency, and their valuable contribution. This helps motivate the users to generate some quality content and behave themselves in an appropriate manner.
But besides the earnings perspective, what attracted me in Hive was its community. While exploring various posts and different communities, I realized that there are people who are willing to help each other here. I was impressed to see more experienced members guiding and encouraging the beginner members, advising them, providing new opportunities and supporting each other, which is quite important nowadays.
Hive became enticing for me not only because of the financial prospects but also because of the potential for growth and I guess one can really learn a lot from it, be it Hive itself or its community members. Besides, there is always a chance to think about how you can contribute to the Hive when the time comes.
Within the following weeks and months, I will be uploading various types of content depending on my experiences. This includes but is not limited to;

As I have clearly stated, I am relatively new to this platform. I know well enough that overnight success does not occur. Patience, consistency, and continuous learning are essential in such environments as Hive. I am willing to take everything one step at a time.
Something that I love about taking up something new is that it allows me to learn from scratch. All the experts have been beginners before, and all successful endeavors start from a first step. And today is my first step into the Hive community.
