MESSAGE TO ALL OF HUMANITY
It's the day of Eid l Adha, in that vein, Eid l Adha Mubarak to us all. Am so grateful to have witnessed this day. Although, I missed the prayer as u was laundering cloth for my clients, may Allah forgive me.
Today I went from Ilorin, kwara state to Edidi, Kwara state to go visit my family for the celebration and I did a whole lot of walking. Going from houses to houses to greet one person or the other, hugging and kissing. Truly a blessed day.
I missed the prayers if you can recall, but I remember the last Eid prayer I attended. During the Khutba, I observed that it was a Muslim praying ground, but the guards in charge of security were Christian security officials and thus gladden my heart to know that we will be there for one another. While one is weak and vulnerable, the other is there to protect the weak and vice versa. The Christian security protects the Muslims while praying and the Muslims protect the Christians while praying. I believe it to be that we are understanding the true meaning if the difference amongst us and are working to make the difference which us a weakness into a STRENGTH. REMEMBER, United we stand, United we fall. United from the beginning to the end. ONE LOVE.
