So this past weekend I went away to a golf resort in Zimbabwe and whilst there met some new people.
Obviously sitting down and chatting we got talking about what eachother do for work and earnings etc. I started to talk about bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies and how they worked. The normal questions came up ....
Is it real ?
What backs it ?
Who owns it ?
How can you turn it into money ?
So with all those being asked I began to talk about it in depth but people just laughed and said "No ways can you make money like that off something that isn't real." My answer was simply "well people are and if you don't believe it now then you will in a years time after I have traded." Not to say that I am going to be super rich off it but I will make extra income off cryptocurrencies in a years time, but still to think it is possible to get super rich off them anyways.
The point im trying to get to is im not there to convince people to invest I am simply telling them what could go right and what can go wrong and what I am doing but the questions always come up. The reason being is people have heard stories about it and have not researched or took the time to learn about them. No body will ever know EVERYTHING about cryptocurrencies but the more you learn the more you can teach and the more people know about it the better for the crypto-world with more people accepting it to trade with, the higher the price, the better for everyone.
I then went on to speak about STEEM and how it can make you money off blogging and again it was unbelievable to see their response. "NO WAYS" they said. Anyways i said what I could but the simple fact is people who do not know enough about cryptocurrencies will eventually have to learn about them as it is becoming more and more likely the way of the world.
What are your thoughts on this?
Do you have difficulties telling people that you have invested into cryptocurrencies?
What are the usual questions?
