Hello hiver!
Today I'm back with another group of street photographs taken on the streets of my city. I chose black and white because I still think it looks better with this type of photography, although I've seen many excellent color shots taken by other colleagues. I've taken them myself before and liked the results, but as I said, black and white is better.

Hoy vuelvo con orro grupo de fotograf铆as callejeras hechas por las calles de mi ciudad. Escog铆 el blanco y negro porque sigo pensando que queda mejor con este tipo de fotograf铆as, aunque he visto much铆simas capturass en colores hechas por otros colegas que son excelentes. Yo mismo las he hecho en otras ocasiones y me ha guatado el resultado, pero lo dicho, mejor el blaco y negro.

Un grupo de personas esperando que las tiendas abran para comprar, hablando o mirando sus tel茅fonos mientras est谩n sentados en la puerta.
01- The wait / La espera
I don鈥檛 know why, but I was looking at the rooftops just as a cat walked across the railing. It stopped and sat down as if it was posing. . I only had a few seconds to get a couple of shots, and then it was off, proud of its brief photo session.
No s茅 por qu茅, pero estaba mirando los tejados justo cuando un gato cruz贸 la barandilla. Se detuvo y se sent贸 como si estuviera posando. Solo tuve unos segundos para sacar un par de fotos, y luego se fue, orgulloso de su breve sesi贸n fotogr谩fica.
02- The cat on the roof / El gato en el tejado
Tony is a visual artist, neighbor, and very good friend of mine. You can see him in the mornings and evenings walking his dogs for exercise and to relieve themselves. He was passing near of my house and I took the opportunity to take a picture.
Tony es un artista plastico, vecino y muy buen amigo m铆o. Puedes verlo por las ma帽anas y por las tardes paseando a sus perros para que se ejerciten y hagan sus necesidades. Pasaba cerca de mi casa y aprovech茅 para hacerle una foto.
03- Tony
There are expressions that betray our feelings, and this is the case of the man who greets a young woman warmly upon meeting her. She may be family, a close friend, or who knows, but what's evident is the joy with which he greeted her.
Hay expresiones que delatan nuestros sentimiento y este es el caso del hombre que al cruzarse con una joven la saluda efusivamente. Puede que sea familia, una amistad cercana o quien sabe, lo que si es evidente es la alegr铆a con la que la salud贸.
04- Hello! / Hola!
There's the occasional moment you might find local broadcasting journalists doing an on-the-spot interview with someone on the street. These are usually impromptu interviews for items on current affairs - topics of interest to the general public. Based on the woman's facial expression, she appeared to have taken pleasure in the topic of her interview.
De vez en cuando, se puede encontrar a periodistas de la televisi贸n local entrevistando en persona a alguien en la calle. Suelen ser entrevistas improvisadas sobre temas de actualidad, de inter茅s para el p煤blico en general. A juzgar por la expresi贸n facial de la mujer, parece que le gustaba el tema de la entrevista.
05- The interview / La entrevista
Who hasn't grown attached to an object that once served us well? It seems the owner is not going to throw it away. Instead, the owner has it in the courtyard, presumably to lounge in the shade of the trees.
驴Qui茅n no se ha encari帽ado con un objeto que una vez nos sirvi贸? Parece ser el caso de este viejo sill贸n. Parece que su due帽o no va a tirarlo. En cambio, lo tiene en el patio, probablemente para relajarse a la sombra de los 谩rboles.
06- Old armchair / Vieja butaca
I'll tell you why I love street photography; it's definitely my favorite. When you鈥檙e shooting, everything moves at so a fast pace that the end product is only an idea. You can get a sense of what you might achieve but you won鈥檛 really appreciate it until you look at your photos on the computer and make edits. Sometimes you go beyond your brain鈥檚 plan, and this includes aspects of the image that you simply didn鈥檛 see or record when took the photo. Sometimes I laugh just looking at them. I haven't found that feeling with any other type of photography.

Te dir茅 por qu茅 me encanta la fotograf铆a callejera; sin duda es mi favorita. Al fotografiar, todo se mueve tan r谩pido que el resultado final es solo una idea. Puedes hacerte una idea de lo que podr铆as lograr, pero no lo apreciar谩s realmente hasta que mires tus fotos en el ordenador y las edites. A veces te sales de tu mente, y esto incluye aspectos de la imagen que simplemente no viste o registraste al tomar la foto. A veces me r铆o solo mir谩ndolas. No he encontrado esa sensaci贸n con ning煤n otro tipo de fotograf铆a.
