In the past, I didn't like taking pictures in wintertime, and especially didn't like taking pictures of snow - trivially, because I didn't get good results, always had overexposed pics with no details and nuances...
But with time, three things changed: 1) I got to use a full-format camera (Canon 5D); 2) I began to capture my photos in .raw format (and process .raw files in Photoshop, not jpegs as I used to do); 3) I began feeling attracted not only by the plot/subject, but also by the light, and began to capture precisely the beautiful light, not even paying much attention to the plot itself - and in this sense, winter with a huge white reflective blanket spread out everywhere is no less attractive than #nightphotography... It also changes the picture that our eyes are accustomed to.

Trees are provided with with coats against the frozen wintertime. This look always sounds quite surrealistic for me, eyes just never cant get accommodated to this sight...
It is a bit strange to see soap bubbles blowing among the winter fun (warm seasons are more suitable for this activity) - but as you can see in my proof photo, it is also possible! My friend 
Creating an artsy snowman.... oh, well, actually that is a cat, not a man xD ... anyway - huge fun for a family team.
I usually spend half an hour during my park walks near the icy hill area. You may see kidz and their parents come here for ice sliding almost any weather! (They usually use inflatable devices, which in Russian are called “vatrushka”, that is, a large pie filled with cottage cheese. Cool name, isnt it?)
Suddenly, unusual question: do you have a photo of a dinosaur? I have one! and even more than one :) Dinosaur figurines are a proven recipe for luring kidz to an amusement park. I will share more photos from my visit to a snowy amusement park ... sooner or later. 😀 Thanks for walking with me! see you next time.
