Today was a good day to harvest the salsa garden. We had an awesome crop of Jalapeños, Onions, Green Peppers, and the Tomatoes are coming out of our ears.

A simple garden fresh salsa recipe I would like to share. This salsa is sure to be a crowd pleaser at your home also.

8 quarts peeled tomatoes
3 cups chopped onions
4 large bell peppers
4-6 Diced Jalapeños
1/2 Cup Salt
1/2 Cup sugar

I recommend gloves when chopping jalapeños and avoid rubbing eyes

Put all ingredients in large stew pot and simmer until reduced to the constancy that you desire for salsa. Taste and make any adjustments to seasoning you desire.

Water bath can your salsa and store for later date
