Hello Hivers 💕💘,

This was the outcome of the grasscutter wooden cage which I am currently working on myself. It is not an easy task but this Is what It entails to be a very hard working and more creative farmer. So I am showing us the stages which I passed through practically. This is not what it has been done so many years ago but I am still working on it.

The grasscutter needs just a small space to live on. But it must be extremely strong. Or else they will eat the wooden cage within few months.

  • This was when I captured myself while making the wooden cage and it is a very smooth one because I spent hours cutting the two by three wood with the hand saw. I do not have any industrial saw so I bet I rather use what I have. But I am also planning on purchasing the industrial saw.

This is a circular saw and it will be absolutely great for the work I'm done at the moment but it is costly. #90,000 Nigerian currency and roughly 67.48 United States Dollar

But without the circular saw I did a lot which is recommendable. I needed more cages because the grass cutter animals grow faster and when you want to expand your farm you must be active to secure more space for them quickly before the start to fight and kill themselves.

THE NET.

  • The kind of industrial net must be choose wisely. We have two types of industrial net has shown in the pictures. but you can also use a single type of net depending on how buoyant you are. Your financial situation can also determine the type of net you choose to use for making grasscutter cages. With a lot of practical experiment and research from grasscutter Farmers and WhatsApp groups. We are meant to understand that, for every farmer or for every Farm you must look at your financial status. You can go solo while making your grasscutter cages. And it will be very strong for them to live for at least 3 to 5 years without changing anything.

These are the two type of industrial or galvanized net that I used practical speaking in my recent grasscutter wooden cage. We have the very thick one which I use for the covering the edges of the wooden cage. While the one inches galvanized net was used for the basement or the floor of the grasscutter wooden cage.

  • This was when the measurement was going on and I used the measuring tape and the industrial scissors for cutting it effectively.

INDUSTRIAL SCISSORS.

This is the industrial scissors. This industrial sisters is not a common one because it is extremely expensive but yet I needed it for cutting the industrial net alone.

THE NET.

  • These are the net. They are extremely expensive at this moment but because of the kind of work they are to be used for. I needed to gather up more phones and purchase it at a very high price. Each of this net cost #19,000. For the thick industrial net of the 2 inches hole. Which is roughly 14.25 United States Dollar

If you have just one of these industrial net. You can use it for the whole cage it will do very well. But at the other hand if you can purchase the two. It will also give you more physical and more durability lasting for the grasscutter wooden cage.
