San Baronto owes its name to the monk of the same name who settled in a small poeve in this place, much loved in summer for the cold. This village located on the road is a passage village that leads to many nearby Tuscan cities, Pistoia, Florence, Vinci and many small villages such as Larciano, Lamporecchio, San Rocco."
