Being a HUUUUGE music fan this #a-zmusic challenge created by @psos fits like a glove!

HOW TO TAKE PART

The challenge takes place in alphabetical order and so all you have to do is use the hashtag above and select TWO bands/singers each day making your way through the alphabet. Select a track for each of them and share the links, and your feelings/memories from your trip down memory lane ;)

Kicking it off with the letter 'A', it's Alanis Morissette and her wonderful song 'Ironic'...

Well, I don't think it gets more ironic than that haha! I just love this song, the irony, and the raw truths that some encounter in life. It's one of those that when played it's up on full volume - like most music I listen to, what's the point otherwise?! ;) It's very fitting for those moments of 'oh that's just typical' or 'sods law', perhaps you describe it as 'Murphys law' depending on how you use these turn of phrases, either way, I think it's fair to say that each of us at some point in our lives have experienced a time where, let's say, the universe hasn't been on our side! (but of course not forgetting the times when it has!)

For the next track, I've chosen Aerosmith - Dude looks like a lady!

This song always reminds me of the movie Mrs Doubtfire, a movie I used to watch a lot as a child, what a classic! It's one for all the family starring the God of comedy and film (in my opinion)... the late Mr Robin Williams! This song is playing whilst Mr Williams (or Mrs Doubtfire) is dressed as a lady in her ex wife's house whilst dancing and doing the hoovering! Do watch if you haven't already, I'm sure I've said enough to sell it you ;) lol!
