... I've never flew a drone before. I was in a field and this thing just heads across the street and ended up stuck in a tree. I'm guessing that i did not calibrate it correctly.
Some superhero came by and grabbed this 10 foot dead tree branch and scooped it right up on the first try-we were thinking we would knock it off and i would try to catch it, but this was amazing! He goes "this branch was just waiting here for you"
It was pretty ridiculous, humiliating and then hilarious. One of the propeller things is cracked, but everything else looks good. I think ill pick a more... controlled environment next time
I said, "wow thank you... i guess i can't even shake your hand" then he fist bumped me and walked into the sunset.
Im pretty sure i remember reading to be in a very open area when first flying, probably because of this very reason.
Also just goes to show you that skimming the manual might not always be a good idea. I think i will not be as risky for the next flight!
