Hello Splinters

It's a privilege to have you back on my page. My concern is to always bring you the best write-ups. Today, I bring another battle challenge with a monster from the life element. The chosen monster for this week's battle is identified as "Prismologist". If you'd wish to join this week's battle challenge, please check the post published in the splinterlands community providing the guidelines needed for participants. Yet to be players can also join by creating an account through the official splinterlands website

PRISMOLOGIST

Prismologist, a light-based magician is armed with a custom build prism. This custom-built prism is what they use to manipulate magic around themselves on the battlefield. Also according to the lore tab description, they have light dancing around them in a rainbow of colors as they depopulate their opponents to a bloody battlefield.

Intending Prismologists are trained at the Peace of Light Monastery from dawn until dusk with the goal of joining the order of the Spectrum Prism. This is also in accordance with the lore tab description.

There is more to the description of this monster and everything needed to be known about it can be found by following the lore tab description link. Now, over to the battling stats of prismologists.

Prismologists Battling stats

alt

The image above is the known stats of this monster as displayed on the splinterlands website. The monster is an Epic Life card that has six levels of existence. Each of this card's regular is estimated at 100 collection power, while the highest level of the regular type has an estimated 4,830 collection power formed by a combination of 46 cards. Prismologist card design has three special abilities but not all three abilities are not found in the entire level. Only one out of the three abilities is common at all levels, others developed as the level advances.

Let's take a look at what the abilities do.

alt

The blast ability found to be common in this monster does additional damage to the monster adjacent to the target monster.

alt

Forcefield ability: Monsters with forcefield ability take only one damage from attacks with power 5+

alt

This ability reduces the magic attack of all enemy monsters.

Prismologist estimated Sale and Rental Prices in the Peakmonsters Market

alt The regular prismologist card is estimated below a dollar at an average price of $0.828. The above image also shows that 150 pieces of this card have been sold out over the past 24hrs. The level two gold foil of this card is found at the peakmonsters market with a worth of $5. Renting this monster is less of a financial burden as it is made available at a price ranging from 0.5dec/per to 50dec/day depending on the card level.

Team Selection

TYRUS-PALADIUM

alt
The silver shield and sword wielder Tyrus, is a rare summoner of the life element. On the battlefield, Tyrus shields all monsters under it with one armor protection. The battle with Tyrus here was fought from level four.

CLAY-GOLEM

alt
Clay Golen possesses the anti-magic ability in form of void armor. It was put in the first position to withstand a reduced magic damage from the enemy's monsters. Golem is also a battling monster with melee damage counting to three from the level four at which it was deployed

VENATOR-KINJOaltKinjo has the reflection shield ability which means it can take a blast, and can not allow it pass through it. Using kinjo or any other monster with the reflection shield ability is the ideal thing to do when the fight has a set rule involving blast

BILA-THE-RADIANTalt Pretty Bila with the life-leech ability follow behind Kinjo. Bila is a magic attack monster used at level one in this battle. It has two magic damage and sucks out life of the target monster.

PELACOR-ARBALESTalt A very important card from the life element, Pelacor Arbalest entered the battle at position four. Arbalest is a ranged attack monster with two ranged damage and a double strike ability. Using it at level four gave it the privilege of a better health number.

DJINN-RENOVAalt

PRISMOLOGISTalt

Djinn Renova made the fifth position. Entering the battle, it came with its strengthen ability which gave all friendly monsters an additional life. It entering the battle from level three also brought to the battle an additional three magic damage. Renova was among the monster that made it to the end of the battle

The Game-play Strategy

The rule of the game influence the strategy. Since it involved blast, there was a lot to be done in protecting monsters. First, a monster that could reduce magic damage from placed in front to receive the initial hits, followed by a monster who is anti-blast. These two moves ensure that the front row was solid enough for the battle. Next, both magic and ranged monsters were combined to get ready in whichever way the opponent might choose to go. It happened that the opponent choose a magic strategy which did draw a lot of blood but ended up defeated in a battle that lasted for four rounds.

I can say that the strategy was good enough and given the same circumstance, I might repeat the same procedure that gave the positive result.

What I Think of the Prismologist

The card has good qualities. It is a battle warrior that doesn't need a heist to acquire in the market. All the abilities given to it in the design are very useful in almost every battle

That will be all for this week. Hope to see you next week, same place.

Again, I'm hitting the pause button here for this week. I'd hope to see you next week when I hit the resume button

Thanks for Reading
