Well not really, why is that?
The belief is due to the person's experience of the world through their senses (rationalism or scientism) and that it can be applied at all places at all times.
Since I cannot see something to say that it could never have been, is conjecture. Where is the law to say that a talking snake is impossible?
If you were not around at the time of the garden of Eden, how can one say with 100% that a talking snake could never have existed?
