Part 2 of Zen Tyrants' video suite, "Valkyrie Parabolic", in Viking Proggy Tech style, created aug-sept 2013 at the Lumberjack Research Shanty. I was convalescing from a serious injury; at least, just starting that journey. I was collaborating with a friend, DJ Andyredrum; we did several remix projects together as "The Zen Tyrants". I took a lot of stuff from his techno remix sets, reorganized them using various compositional secret stuff, adding in various layers of electronic sound that I'd produced, or was producing, whatever, for this project. It was all very complicated; part of that, is that this second piece forms the centerpiece of an longer arch form when combined with the first and third part of this "dance suite" upon which the structure is based on some of Machaut's stuff. I created the video from various clips, processing them through stochastic algorithms and so forth in Max, stuff I'd originally created for music, and had adapted for processing videos.
