Airwindows just dropped ConsoleX3, a free open-source mixing console system that wraps a full channel strip into a single plugin. It packs a four-band EQ, dynamics that can compress or expand, saturation, console coloration, and an adaptive GUI that reshapes itself as you resize the window — shrink it far enough and it becomes a compact meter. It runs VST3, AU, and CLAP on macOS, Windows, and Linux, MIT-licensed with no DRM.
