I pay a lot of attention to the news and I see a lot of Trump bashing. I don't believe much of mainstream media lately, unless I fact-check it myself. I have believed in Trump since the beginning and I still believe in him now because he is doing his best to fix what he can, in spite of taking on a vast amount of opposition from all directions. Plus, with everything that has come out about him, you can't really say anything that will tarnish his name any further. However, if something comes out about a relatively new guy or someone with a shiny record, it may screw him over in the end. Kind of like when Howard Dean made that infamous sound that cost him the election in 2004.
I guess nobody in mainstream media wanted to mention that president Trump is offering a path to citizenship to 1.8 million dreamers in exchange for border security, funding for a border wall, an end to chain migration and an end to the diversity Visa Lottery.
I live in Southern California where CBS has a sister station called KCAL 9 and the only reason I watch that channel is because it has The Peoples Court and the news has decent sports reporters. That’s really the only decent channel mainstream media offers where I live. Nobody really wants to say anything that might benefit Trumps image. Even without mainstream media, his approval rating is edging back up to 40%.
Maybe the far left is panicking because Trump is offering reasonable tax bills and sending people the message that he’s not out to destroy the country. This message is, in fact, the opposite of what they are reporting of Trump. According to the far left, Trump is a far-right racist who wants to destroy legal immigration and in turn, this country.
The far left seems to have forgotten this one quote. It seems like a pretty important one. "Those who enter our country illegally and those who employ them disrespect the rule of law. And because we live in an age where terrorists are challenging our borders, we cannot allow people to pour into the U.S. undetected, undocumented, and unchecked." In case you weren’t sure, Barack Obama wrote that on Twitter in 2006.
Remember not to believe everything you see and hear from mainstream media and call people out when they are wrong or lying. Stay fresh everybody.
