@zhanavic69 y
Tambi茅n quiero agradecer a mi querida y bella amiga @sacra97 por tan bonita invitaci贸n.
Hello dear friends of my favorite community. And I say it with propriety because this community where all of us, as the empowered women that we are, can share our experiences and experiences, is great.
Before I get into the topic of this initiative, I would like to invite @syllem,
@zhanavic69 and
@osismi to join in and share their memories and experiences with us.
I also want to thank my dear and beautiful friend @sacra97 for such a nice invitation.
Every time I participate in one of these initiatives, I feel as if we are all gathered in a cafe, at someone's house around a table full of snacks, wine, water, juices or whatever beverage you can think of.
We have often talked about our lives, our memories and that beautiful journey through our lives that leaves us different lessons to each one of us but that ultimately makes us grow as human beings.
The topic that is on the table this time is what represents for us a perfect end of Saturday and that special toy that we remember from our childhood.
Here is the first question of the initiative:
What would your perfect Saturday be like?
1锔忊儯 驴C贸mo ser铆a tu s谩bado perfecto?
Punta Arenas, Isla de Margarita.
Para m铆 desde que tengo uso de raz贸n, los d铆as de playa son los d铆as perfectos.
For me for as long as I can remember, beach days are the perfect days. They are moments of complete relaxation, of immersing myself in the sea and letting the waves take me there and back while floating, contemplating the sky. I have never been one of those people who tend to wear the sun and get a nice tan. I am, on the contrary, one of those who as soon as I get to the sea, dive in and get out when my toes are very wrinkled.
And there is nothing more beautiful than a sunset on the beach. It brings me an indescribable sense of peace. I love to fill my lungs with that fresh breeze that means so much to me because it is my childhood and adolescence awakening in my memories. At the sea I have been the happiest person in the world. On the beach, my beloved Italian asked me to be his girlfriend and it was on the beach, where years later, he proposed to me.
But since the pandemic, I have rarely allowed myself to go to the beach.

And since I'm the kind of person who doesn't need much to be happy, spending a weekend with my son going for ice cream, watching series on Netflix, going for a walk or just staying at home, him on the laptop and me lying down reading a book, after ordering a couple of pizzas by delivery.
Being with my prince is enough for me, he is my best company. He is a funny, kind, loving, sometimes moody boy (typical of adolescence), but he never stops being fun. He loves to talk to me, tell me his things and above all he is very analytical. When we talk, he frowns, weighing every word I say and then tells me his point of view, which could well be the point of view of a mature adult.
Este d铆a, est谩bamos haci茅ndonos cosquillas.
In these pictures above, we were standing in line to fill up the car with gas last Saturday. Unbelievable that in an oil country, we have to go through this, but that's how it is. So every time I get gas, depending on the license plate number of my car, we usually buy some knick-knacks and two bottles of water. In my case, since I love to read, I take a book and he takes his cell phone. But I almost never read or he uses his phone, because we start talking or playing games. This day, we were tickling each other.
Then in some pictures I would say to him, "get serious for the picture" and he would hold in his laughter and pose as serious as his mood would allow.
I know it may sound cliche, but the truth is that my son has been the best thing that has ever happened to me every Saturday and every day of my life.
What was your favorite toy when you were young?
The second proposal of this contest, is a very nice question that has to do with our childhood...
What was your favorite toy when you were young?
My childhood playhouse.
When I was a little girl, I didn't really like playing with dolls. If someone gave me a Barbie, I used to play with it for a while, but then I discarded it because my imagination was always one step ahead.
This little house you see in the picture belonged to my older sister, who is twenty years older than me. Her godmother had given it to her, but when she became a teenager, the house became part of the nursery. When I started to grow up, the little house caught my attention. It is made of metal and has drawings on its walls.
The domino pieces I "borrowed" from my father to serve as furniture for the house and my sister's nail paints were the people. The women were different from the men because they wore a ring on the top and a chain hanging down, pretending to be hair.
I could spend hours, almost a day playing in this little house. Of course, I had more paints, as my sister collected nail paints, jewelry and many makeup items. For example, the compact powder case, I used it as a lunch table and there were many girls and boys. The mom and dad, were the body creams, because they were bigger than the nail paints.
I loved that little house so much, I still have it with me almost intact (a little beat up from the passage of time, but it's still here. Maybe if someday I have granddaughters, they might like this house as much as I do.
Escrib铆a novelitas rosa (de esas rom谩nticas) y mis amigas eran mis 煤nicas y fieles lectoras.
When I was ten or eleven years old, my passion for writing began. I used to write little pink novels (the romantic kind) and my friends were my only and faithful readers. Then I turned those same novels into caricatures.
My drawings, I know they are not pretty, but I feel proud of them, because they were my first steps to learn how to draw and everything I drew, was a product of my imagination.
The dialogues were identified by numbers and the sequence of the conversations followed.
I remember that during school vacations, my parents let me stay up late because they knew it was something I loved to do and they thought I would become a famous writer, in the best Daniele Steel style. But fate had other plans for me and now looking back, I get nostalgic and wish I could take it all back. However, the days are so full of activities, that I wouldn't have time for it.
There are those who say that to remember is to live and today I confirm once again how true these words are. I became a child again with this contest. I felt transported back in time to that happy childhood when I had my parents with me, when we were a happy and united family.
Once again thanks to my dear Ladies of Hive family for making these nice connections to our memories possible.
