In the midst of this quarantine, I confess that at times I have lost courage, I have felt the soul and essence of what I have been kidnapped.

Since my mom's death, I confess that I've hit rock bottom many times, more times than I'd like. I've felt and felt, sometimes I'm afraid. Sometimes I have lost myself inside my own mind, I have had to learn to embrace and live with my fears. But unconsciously, I tend to turn away, not daring to face them.

I know that running away is not an option, although sometimes it is what I want most. To run away, to go far away. I have also felt the strong need to bury my face in my mother's lap, to cry, to tell her how I feel and how much I miss her. To feel her warm skin and her delicate aroma of fruit, while she caresses my hair with her little hand.

So it's time for me to take a deep breath of that lucidity and judgment that has always characterized me and to be the strong woman that everyone thinks I am.

I believe that life is not a straight path and that getting lost from time to time is good.

And to feel fear is also good. Facing them is good and turning your back on them from time to time and running away from them is not bad either. What is wrong is to avoid them all the time, never face them and remain in a bubble of absurd and disguised happiness.

I have learned to look with humility and to be grateful for every moment that life gives me, regardless of whether it is positive or negative because they are simply learnings that help us grow as human beings.

I am grateful for the past moments even though they have left me now with a very deep emptiness that I cannot find a way to fill.

I confess that I am an apprentice in living in the moment, in overcoming pain, because many times I feel that I am losing myself.

Loneliness envelops me and sadness does not cease to embrace me at times. But for my son, I make the effort to see myself radiant when inside my soul is broken to pieces.

That's what life is all about. To have and to lose. Laughing and crying. To get sick and to heal. Working and enjoying. And it is not bad to cleanse the soul from time to time and tears are there for that, to cleanse the soul from sadness.

It really relaxes me to take my cell phone or camera and drive around looking for something nice to photograph. I love the sunsets with their orange and pink skies, I love the sound of the sea bringing the waves to the shore, and then abandoning them to their fate.

Lately there have been very few opportunities for me to do what I like, unless I get a quick getaway like this day when I needed to go for a ride.

Here's a taste of my hometown or what's left of it.

He sentido y sentir, a veces me da miedo.
