Yesterday Saturday my family and I (my brother, his wife, my son and I) were visiting the II National Buffalo Breeding Fair 2023 in Caracas. We had a great time because we were sharing as a family and it was something that we had not done for a long time and that we were missing.
My son and I haven't been going out for a while now because between his studies and daily chores, time has flown by and on weekends, when we are supposed to go out and have a different time, we are busy with housework (cleaning, tidying up, laundry, etc.).
But my brother and sister-in-law almost dragged us to this event because they say we look like two vampires, just locked up and pale as the moon.

Children and adults can take pictures with them. In the presentations there is a display of more than 450 buffaloes and the participation of experts and judges from Brazil, Italy and Argentina.
The entrance fee is completely free. Its entrance is located in a park called Generalissimo Francisco de Miranda Park, which connects through a pedestrian bridge to Bolivar Park in La Carlota.
I will tell you more about the Generalissimo Francisco de Miranda Park later in this post.
The organization of this exhibition was in charge of producer Nicola Fabbozzo, who is currently the president of the Venezuelan Civil Association of Buffalo Breeders.
In an interview given to the Venezuelan state television channel, Nicola Fabozzo stated that today, Venezuela stands out as the most buffalo-headed country in the Americas.
What I liked most about the event was the number of stands for various well-known companies in the country and the large number of people in the place. The sad thing (my son's textual words) was to know what is the imminent destiny of that great amount of buffaloes so big and so beautiful. It should be noted that my son almost does not like to eat meat and after being at this event, his decision not to eat meat again was strengthened.
Then we decided to walk around Parkof the East, which is a place with a large expanse of green areas, with paths for those who exercise and some animals in captivity because this park was characterized for years, for being a zoo.
Today, there are few animals that cohabit in this zoo, because the cost of its maintenance is high, I do not want to go into details of this type, because the idea of this post is not to talk about anything sordid, on the contrary, the idea is to show the beauty of my city and what you can do during a weekend with your family.
The park of the East, is a place of public recreation. Here you can enjoy the beautiful vegetation. There is a diversity of people. Many go to play basketball because there are basketball courts, others play soccer. There are those who go to do exercises such as Yoga, Tai Chi, jogging, skating or just walking.
The east park is also a zoo where you can see some caged animals, such as crocodiles, alligators, otters, macaws, parrots, snakes and of course, the funny little monkeys that make everyone happy.
The walk is not boring, it is very enjoyable, it is catharsis for any stressed person of any age, tired of everyday life, traffic, work, and going to the Park of the East simply relaxes the senses and renews the body and mind.
It really was a fascinating day full of the best vibe in the world, enjoying the best company (my son, my brother and my sister-in-law). Days like this make me thank the Universe, because I realize that I have everything. I have health, a beautiful family, a wonderful son and the opportunity to breathe, to live such a beautiful and radiant Saturday.
