First time Keratin 💁🏻♀️ (Esp-Eng)
English 💙
Hello dear @hive-183828 community I am very happy that there is this space to write and talk about those aesthetic processes that we, ladies, gentlemen and children, do to our hair.
I will tell you a little about my relationship with this art, what was my experience and fears when I applied for the first time a Keratin and why I saw necessary to do it in my case now. Through the photos I will show you the application and the result of the transformation 🌟
My mother-in-law has been a professional hairdresser for many years. What I know about this job, I owe it to her.
I became very fond of doing my hair 😅 so much so that I lasted years with highlights.
In spite of that, I don't always apply hair color because, although I know it's something precious, I try to take care of the health of my hair, which has always been very healthy and resistant.

However, everything changed last year, after overcoming the Covid-19, one of the after-effects of the virus that remained with me was the abundant hair loss. Mine became dull and dry. Horrible 😖
I tried many things and nothing. Until I decided to get this Keratin job done. My friend @elizpc gifted me the material and labor (how not to love her 😘😻).
To be honest I was afraid to have it done as I had heard that it is a strong chemical, that the smell affects a bit, and as my breathing also suffered with the virus, the fear was worse.
Despite this, as I was really desperate to get my hair back, I said: "I will apply it".
I took my measures before, during and after the process. An acetaminophen before, my respective mouth mask, we chose a place outside the house, where there was enough ventilation, and an anti-allergic after.
Soon my fears were dissipating because I felt practically no smell at all. Few were the times that the smell reached me (this only happened when my hair was coming towards my face). And yes, the smell is a bit strong. When it comes in through the nose you get a burning sensation. Well, that's what happened to me. I know that each case is different 😉
It should be noted that another precaution I took was to apply the treatment in the morning and remove it in the afternoon.
I know that for many professionals and users of this product it is preferable or better to leave it on for several days or overnight. But in my case, I did not want to do it and, besides, my mother-in-law told me it was not necessary.
My friend did the process with a lot of patience. I really felt like I was at the hairdresser's 😂
In the afternoon when I took it out, dried my hair and my mother-in-law flat ironed it, I started to notice the change.
Once my hair was cool, I did what we call "the twist" with a cap for that purpose. This allows it not to wrinkle or get marked with a clip or ponytail.
As the days went by I kept noticing the change in my hair 🤩 I wanted to cry 🥺 with joy!
Now I have to keep taking care of it using salt free shampoo and some cream bath to help me to keep moisturizing it.
I am very happy with the result because I feel that hair, as well as the face and nails, say a lot about a woman.
Finally, my friend who reads me, if you want to apply a Keratin, I can recommend the following:
