Well, I drank the beer yesterday - so it should be fine :)
This week I got a beer from an island again. But not a Dutch island like I wrote about before.
No, it's from the German island R眉gen. The island has quite an interesting history. You can read a lot of it on the English Wikipedia and also on the German Wikipedia of course.
R眉gener Insel Brauerei
The beer was brewed at the R眉gener Insel Brauerei but 
They have many more different beers but this is the only one we found here.

The bottle is completely wrapped in paper which gives the bottle an interesting look.
Also, the color of the beer is great.
Double India Pale Ale
There is a lot of information on the paper wrapped bottle.
You can read that we have a double IPA and that the brewery won 9x gold at the London 2011 World Beer Awards.
Also, it says it's a rare beer with 7.5% alc. vol.

Water, malted barley, malted wheat, grape sugar, hops, and yeast.
The grape sugar is completely fermented while the beer was aging in the bottle.
But what about the taste?

When drinking this beer at a temperature of 10 degrees they say it's mainly dry, bitter and a little bit oaky and fruity.
I drank it at about 7 degrees and for me, it was not as bitter as they say. Actually, it had a nice creamy taste.
One of those beers where you could easily drink more than you should.
