Greetings friends splinterlands players, today I come to continue with a small initiative that I started a week ago, where I am going to represent the inhabitants of the splinterlands universe with my art style; first I am going to draw only the characters that I have in my card collection, then I will continue to cover as many inhabitants of the different splinters.
Saludos amigos jugadores de splinterlands, hoy vengo a continuar con una peque帽a iniciativa que d铆 inici贸 hac茅 una semana, en donde voy a representar con m铆 estilo de arte a los habitantes del universo de splinterlands; primero voy a dibujar solo los personajes que tengo en mi colecci贸n de cartas, luego continuar茅 para ir abarcando a la mayor cantidad de habitantes de los diferentes splinters.
The character I started this initiative with last time was PELACOR BANDIT from the Water Splinter; this time I decided to draw a character of the fire Splinter FLAME MONKEY.
El personaje con el que di inicio a esta iniciativa en la anterior ocasi贸n fue PELACOR BANDIT del Splinter de agua; en esta oportunidad decid铆 dibujar un personaje del Splinter de fuego FLAME MONKEY.
These large monkeys were bred for the Kobolds some two hundred years ago as a gift from the Gloridax. They are easy to train and can sustain incredibly high temperatures, but the Flame Monkey鈥檚 greatest feature is its ability to make fire by rubbing its hands together rapidly.
Estos grandes monos fueron criados para los Kobolds hace unos doscientos a帽os como regalo de Gloridax. Son f谩ciles de entrenar y pueden soportar temperaturas incre铆blemente altas, pero la mayor caracter铆stica del Flame Monkey es su capacidad para hacer fuego frot谩ndose las manos r谩pidamente.
This work is done using only basic colored pencils and the canvas is a small sketchbook that I created myself, each sheet has dimensions of 18cm x 10cm.
Este trabajo lo realice usando solo l谩pices de colores b谩sicos y el lienzo es un peque帽o cuaderno de bocetos que yo mismo cre茅, cada hoja tiene unas dimensiones de 18cm x 10cm.
The technique that I apply when drawing is based on layers, this time to make the character's fur, I started with a yellow base layer and then little by little I added dimension with different shades of orange and brown until I achieved the illusion of dimension desired.
La t茅cnica que aplico al dibujar se basa en capas, en esta ocasi贸n para realizar el pelaje del personaje, comenc茅 con una capa base de color amarillo y luego poco a poco fui agregando dimensi贸n con diferentes tonalidades de anaranjado y marr贸n hasta lograr la ilusi贸n de dimensi贸n deseada.
This is the final result of a day of work, I am very excited about how the drawing turned out; With this initiative I am managing to improve my drawing skills by applying coloring with colored pencils, apart from the fact that I am also increasing my knowledge about the cards that I have in my collection deck in splinterlands. Este es el resultado final de un d铆a de trabajo, estoy muy emocionado de como qued贸 el dibujo; con esta iniciativa estoy logrando mejorar mis habilidades en el dibujo al aplicar el coloreado con l谩pices de colores, aparte de que tambi茅n estoy aumentando mis conocimientos sobre las cartas que tengo en posesi贸n dentro de mi maso de colecci贸n en splinterlands. Espero que este post sea de su agrado, buenas vibras 馃枛馃徏.
