I've always liked to be very organized with my things at home, and since I got my own room, I've been gradually remodeling and adapting my studio space so I can organize all my artistic creation tools and have everything easily accessible when I need to use it. For a couple of weeks now, I've been thinking about installing some shelves, which I need to continue with that organization. So I restored some friend's feet I've had in storage for years to use on that mission.
Siempre me ha gustado ser muy ordenado con mis cosas en el hogar y desde que tengo mi habitaci贸n, poco a poco he estado remodelando y adaptando el espacio de mi habitaci贸n estudio para poder organizar todas mis herramientas de creaci贸n art铆stica y que todo me quede de f谩cil acceso para cuando lo necesite usar; desde hace un par de semanas hab铆a estado pensando en instalar unas repisas que me hacen falta para continuar con esa organizaci贸n. As铆 que restaure unos pies de amigo que ten铆a guardados desde hace a帽os para usarlos en esa misi贸n.
For the restoration, I first sanded the rusty surface of the friends' feet and then used black anti-corrosion paint to paint the pieces to continue with the rustic aesthetic I've been implementing in my studio room.
Para la restauraci贸n, primero lije la superficie oxidada de los pies de amigos y luego usando pintura anticorrosiva color negro pinte las piezas para seguir con la est茅tica rustica que he venido implementando en mi habitaci贸n estudio.
Then I used some old wood from some drawers, cleaned them, and removed all the screws and rails to use them as the shelves. Whenever possible, I try to make all my creations with recycled materials; it's part of my essence as a creator.
Luego use unas maderas viejas de unas gavetas, las limpie y quite todos los tornillos y rieles que ten铆a para usarlas como las tablas de las repisas. Siempre que puedo busco de realizar todas mis creaciones con material reciclado, es parte de mi esencia como creador.
With all the tools ready, I started making the holes through which I would pass the screws that will hold the feet of the friends of the shelves, then I fixed the feet of friends to the wall.
Ya teniendo todas las herramientas listas, comenc茅 a realizar los orificios por donde pasar铆a los tornillos que sostendr谩n los pies de amigos de las repisas, seguido fije en la pared los pies de amigos.
Then install the wood and secure it with screws so that it doesn't move and stays firm when you start placing objects on top of it.
Luego instale las maderas y las fije con tornillos para que no tengan movimiento y queden firmes cuando les comience a poner objetos encima.
This was the final result, and I loved being able to install these shelves. They allow me to keep my art supplies closer to my desk, and I was also able to display those action figures in a place where I can appreciate them. I had them stored in a box because I didn't have room to display them. Step by step, I'll continue remodeling my studio to adapt it to my needs. I hope you enjoy this post. Good vibes.
Este fue el resultado final y me encanto poder instalar estas repisas, me permiten tener mis materiales art铆sticos m谩s cerca de mi escritorio y adem谩s pude colocar esas figuras de acci贸n en un espacio donde las pueda apreciar, ya que las ten铆a guardadas en una caja, porque no ten铆a espacio para exhibirlas; paso a paso seguir茅 haciendo remodelaciones en mi estudio para adaptarlo a mis comodidades.
