This was during our orientation at Hagnaya Beach Resort with the amazing students from different schools. The training will last for atleast three months depending on the number of hours you are working everyday. The school requires the training for us to be fully equipped before we will be deployed on different companies and working with so many kinds of people with different behaviors.
I remember the time our instructors reminds us of being very patient towards patrons as they are the reason for a revenue of a particular business. Many instances happened wherein crews of different establishments can't control their temper and actually yelling and shouting to thier patrons. Being an employee, patience for us is very important. We may not be a perfect individual but sometimes we have to control our bad feelings towards other people.
Hagnaya Beach Resort was my choice because it is only situated within the municipality and also it will be easy for me to go home whenever I want. There are many resorts or establishments to choose from but I want to experience the training here. When you are a Hospitality Management student, the choices and opportunities are very broad, you can work in different fields wherein will help you become better individually and will guide you to a more unique experience and will mold you to be a better worker.
I love trainings, i love short courses because it calls for a short period of time wherein you only have to learn in months and probably the best thing is that it is more of an actual or hands on experience. Being a trainee was never easy it was a memory of ups and downs.
During events we are then ask to work at the venue, put cloth to the chairs, arrange them, prepare all the utensils needed for the event. Prepare coffee machine and the like. And also prepare enough tables for how many people is reserve that day.
We also need to wipe all of the plates before putting it on the venue, spoons and fork need to have tissues in it to avoid dust. Serving spoons off course are the most important thing, etc.
I am happy to be working with them, they taught us to persevere on everything. Having these training was a plus because you are able to realize what will be the actual scenarios when you are at work with the colleagues in the company. Making memories with your co-employees is worth your days.
Making sure utensils are clean. I remember practicing different kinds of napkin folding with our teachers. For how many minutes you have to finish 15 different kinds of napkin folding. It was unforgettable for being so fast but before being fast requires a lot of practice.
Carry some glasses going to a specific room as patrons requested. It's hard, it can break anytime but let us just be careful until we reach the room馃槀 I am afraid to carry things like this but when you are HM student, it requires you to practice this one.
Sometimes when there are no patrons I really have to strike a pose, you know why? It is because it is needed for our portfolio, documentations or pictures with caption and the activities or work we did that particular day. Paper works during training are still present, wherever you go鈽猴笍 It is hard to manage your time of being a trainee, a student, a mother,a daughter and a sibling, and more. Time management is very important so learn to practice it with all your heart. Nothing is easy , and off course nothing is permanent, meaning your struggles and pain will be all worth it.
D'Bar, it is there place to chill with that cold beer, there is also that billiard thing but was not able to take a picture. It is where there coffee machine is found also and also where the delicious smoothies are made. Hopefully I can have a separate blog with their delicious smoothies, pizzas, breads and more of their products at the resort which is being offered everyday.

They are not my classmates but they are all good towards us. They are hardworking students too. When ask to have overtime no many excuses just a work work time馃榿
Probably not my last in this establishment, hope to experience their services as a patron for the next time.
