Uphill Walk
Hello everyone. Today I want to share a few photographs of a walk towards the top of Fort铆n Solano during a quiet morning. These journeys are not simply about walking towards a pleasant destination; traveling this path means experiencing the morning cold in quiet streets and slowly ascending the mountain while watching the city and the sunrise.
Approaching an ancient fortress while surrounded by vegetation provides the ideal moments to capture unique images, which I am sharing with you today. In this post, I have included the first shots I took from the base of the mountain to the midpoint of the path, where plants and trees with welcoming shade are abundant. I find that the early hours offer a very particular light that highlights the green of the leaves and the texture of the road.
The silence of the mountain at that time of day allows for a deeper connection with the landscape. It is a physical effort that is rewarded with the changing view of our city as we gain height. Each step offers a new perspective, and although I only used my phone to document the experience, I believe the essence of that calm morning was well captured in these frames.
I hope to post the second part of this experience soon, where I will share the photographs of the fortress itself and the panoramic view from the top of the mountain. Hola a Todos. Hoy quiero compartir unas pocas fotograf铆as de una caminata hacia lo alto del Fort铆n Solano durante una ma帽ana tranquila. Estas jornadas no son simplemente caminar hacia un destino agradable; transitar este trayecto equivale a experimentar el fr铆o de la ma帽ana en calles tranquilas y ascender lentamente por la monta帽a observando la ciudad y el amanecer.
Acercarse a una antigua fortaleza mientras te rodea la vegetaci贸n brinda los momentos id贸neos para capturar im谩genes 煤nicas, las cuales comparto con ustedes hoy. En este post, inclu铆 las primeras tomas que realic茅 desde la base de la monta帽a hasta la mitad del camino, donde abundan plantas y 谩rboles de sombra acogedora. Encuentro que las primeras horas ofrecen una luz muy particular que resalta el verde de las hojas y la textura del camino.
El silencio de la monta帽a a esa hora permite una conexi贸n m谩s profunda con el paisaje. Es un esfuerzo f铆sico que se ve recompensado con la vista cambiante de nuestra ciudad a medida que ganamos altura.
