Hello everyone. Today I am sharing a new set of photos that show quiet afternoons in the city of Bogota. In these images, you can see views of sunsets captured from local parks, residential streets lined with buildings, and sun rays cutting through the clouds.
These photographs document the busy yet occasionally calm lifestyle that characterizes this city. I focused on capturing different spots within the neighborhoods, choosing angles that show how the light transitions at the end of the day. The open areas of the parks offered a clean view of the sky without too many obstructions.
On the streets, the buildings frame the horizon directly. I wanted to show the contrast between the solid concrete blocks and the open space of the afternoon sky. The way the light passes through the clouds changes the appearance of the avenues for a brief period, creating a distinct visual environment.
I decided to share these images because they reflect the daily reality of the urban landscape. It is a common environment for anyone walking through these sectors, but taking the time to record it allows for a more detailed look at the surroundings. Hola a Todos. Hoy comparto un nuevo conjunto de fotos que muestran tardes tranquilas en la ciudad de Bogotá. En estas imágenes se pueden apreciar vistas de atardeceres capturados desde parques locales, calles residenciales llenas de edificios y rayos de sol atravesando las nubes.
Estas fotografías documentan el estilo de vida bullicioso pero por momentos tranquilo que caracteriza a esta ciudad. Me enfoqué en captar diferentes puntos dentro de los barrios, eligiendo ángulos que muestran cómo cambia la luz al final del día. Las áreas abiertas de los parques ofrecieron una vista limpia del cielo sin tantas obstrucciones.
En las calles, los edificios enmarcan el horizonte de forma directa. Quise mostrar el contraste entre los bloques sólidos de concreto y el espacio abierto del cielo de la tarde. La forma en que la luz pasa a través de las nubes cambia el aspecto de las avenidas por un breve período, creando un entorno visual distinto.
Decidí compartir estas imágenes porque reflejan la realidad diaria del paisaje urbano. Es un entorno común para cualquiera que camine por estos sectores, pero tomarse el tiempo para registrarlo permite una mirada más detallada de los alrededores.
