Instead of launching another improvised landing that might lead to more unnecessary losses, I decided to prioritize internal structure and logistics. The first step was to send engineer units across the sea to the northern continent. Their primary mission is to build a solid network of roads and railroads connecting the cities I have already conquered. In Freeciv, logistical mobility is vital; having a railway system allows me to move reinforcements and resources between fronts in a single turn, which will be a decisive advantage when I decide to strike again.
Parallel to the engineering works, I have focused the industrial power of my specialized cities on the mass production of new tank units. Caracas and other military centers are working at full capacity to replace the lost divisions. However, I am not just focusing on land power. I have started the construction of a global airport network. This infrastructure will allow me to move units quickly from my main continent to the northern war zone, bypassing the slow maritime transport and reducing the time it takes to respond to any enemy counterattack.
Currently, my strategy in the northern continent is purely defensive.
