Hello Hive Gamers! Today I bring you the seventeenth chapter of my campaign in Great Conqueror 2: Shogun. Continuing with my sandbox conquest run, fortune has finally smiled upon my clan in a major way!

Since the Oda clan was completely overwhelmed by countless enemies on all sides, they ended up collapsing and completely disappearing from the map at the hands of the Matsudaira clan. Seeing that the Rokkaku clan was also severely weakened and fighting too many factions at once, I instantly seized the chaos to deliver a decisive final blow. After a series of intense and brutal engagements, I successfully captured the grand Rokkaku castle! As you can see in some of the post's images, the castle's defenses, towns, and surrounding villages were left utterly devastated by the heavy fighting, but securing the stronghold was well worth the destruction.

On the flip side, I wasn't able to retake one of the provinces that the Oda clan originally stole from me, which due to the shifting tides of war ended up falling into Matsudaira hands. However, I am putting that minor setback aside for now. With the Oda and Rokkaku clans completely out of the equation, the western front is now entirely secure, meaning there are no more immediate threats lurking behind my lines. This allows me to concentrate 100% of my veteran army on the eastern front to launch a massive offensive against the Takeda clan. Even though they possess a formidable military might, they are currently surrounded by enemies and holding way too much territory to defend effectively. The time has finally come for a sweeping new offensive!

¡Hola Gamers de Hive! Hoy les traigo el décimo séptimo capítulo de mi campaña en Great Conqueror 2: Shogun. ¡Continuando con el modo conquista, en esta oportunidad la buena suerte por fin le sonrió a mi clan!

Dado que el clan Oda tenía innumerables enemigos por todas partes, terminó desapareciendo por completo del mapa a manos del clan Matsudaira. Y como el clan Rokkaku también estaba enemistado con media región, aproveché el caos imperante para asestarle un golpe certero y definitivo: ¡logré capturar el gran castillo del clan Rokkaku tras intensos y durísimos combates! Tal como se puede apreciar en algunas de las imágenes de este post, las defensas del castillo, las ciudades y los pueblos aledaños quedaron totalmente destruidos por los asedios, pero al menos el objetivo principal fue cumplido con éxito.

Por otro lado, no pude recuperar a tiempo una de las provincias que el clan Oda me había quitado al inicio, la cual, por los azares de la guerra, terminó quedando en manos del clan Matsudaira. Sin embargo, dejaré eso de lado por ahora. Con los clanes Oda y Rokkaku fuera de la ecuación, el frente occidental ya no presenta amenazas, lo que me permite concentrar absolutamente todo mi ejército en el frente oriental. Aunque el clan Takeda cuenta con un poderío militar formidable, ahora mismo se encuentran rodeados de enemigos y con demasiados territorios que no van a poder defender. ¡Ha llegado la hora de lanzar una nueva y contundente ofensiva!
