Hello Hive Gamers! Today I bring you the fifteenth chapter of my campaign in Great Conqueror 2: Shogun. I have pushed further into my sandbox conquest playthrough, and during this session, my primary focus has shifted purely toward survival: stubbornly resisting the relentless onslaught of rival clans and making damn sure I do not lose a single additional province.

Over in the eastern territory of Mino Karasumine, the local castle took severe structural damage from previous skirmishes, and right now, a hostile Takeda Yari infantry unit is looming dangerously close, preparing to press the attack. Fortunately, I am not completely defenseless; I still have a mobile cavalry unit and a larger, battle-ready Yari infantry unit stationed right inside the castle walls, fully prepared to hold the line. Meanwhile, looking west to Mino Ogaki province, the castle unfortunately fell into the hands of the Takeda clan, leaving me with no choice but to dig in and endure the endless waves of Oda attacks, especially their devastating Teppo firearm troops. Luckily, I have managed to position several sturdy Katana Samurai infantry units right around my capital province to block the Oda advance completely.

Just when things felt completely grim, a sudden ray of hope has emerged on the horizon. The Oda clan is currently bogged down in multiple multi-front wars against other surrounding factions, and they are visibly struggling to maintain control over their vast territory. This massive geopolitical blunder on their part might finally play right into my hands, as the Oda could soon weaken to the point of collapse simply because they bit off way more than they could chew by fighting everyone at once!

¡Hola Gamers de Hive! Hoy les traigo el décimo quinto capítulo de mi campaña en Great Conqueror 2: Shogun. He continuado avanzando en mi partida de modo conquista y, en esta sesión, mi enfoque principal ha sido puramente defensivo: resistir con uñas y dientes los ataques de los clanes rivales y evitar a toda costa perder más provincias.

En el este, dentro de la provincia de Mino Karasumine, el castillo sufrió daños considerables debido a los combates previos y, en este preciso momento, una unidad de infantería Yari del clan Takeda se encuentra muy cerca, lista para continuar el asedio. Afortunadamente, no estoy con las manos vacías; tengo una unidad de caballería y una tropa de infantería Yari de mayor tamaño apostadas dentro del castillo, listas para defenderlo con todo. Por otro lado, hacia el oeste, en la provincia de Mino Ogaki, el castillo cayó bajo el control del clan Takeda, por lo que ahora solo me queda resistir los constantes asaltos del clan Oda y sus peligrosas unidades de arcabuceros Teppo. Por suerte, cuento con varias unidades de infantería samurái con katana para blindar mi provincia capital y bloquear el avance Oda.

Sin embargo, en medio del caos, acaba de surgir un rayo de esperanza: el clan Oda está librando múltiples guerras simultáneas con otros clanes de la región y está teniendo verdaderos problemas para mantener el control de su territorio. Esto podría darme una ventaja táctica increíble, ya que el clan Oda corre el riesgo de debilitarse drásticamente hasta colapsar por haber querido abarcar demasiado y pelear contra todos al mismo tiempo. ¡Ya veremos cómo capitalizamos esta debilidad!
